The short version
Kantkussen is a pillow book for bobbin lacemakers. It works entirely on your device. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server — there is nothing for it to send your data to, even if it wanted to.
What Kantkussen stores
Everything below is saved only in the app's local storage on your device (Core Data and Application Support). None of it is uploaded, backed up to a third party, or shared with us or anyone else.
- Pricking and finished-piece photos you add from the camera or your photo library.
- Project details you type in: pricking names, lace family, pair counts, thread notes and source.
- Pair winding records: thread or colour per pair, and which pairs were added or dropped.
- Hole traces and grids you lay over your own pricking photos.
- Session data: pin counts, session timers and the notes you pin to a hole.
- App settings: appearance, haptics, sound and display toggles.
Permissions, and why we ask
- Camera — to photograph a pricking card or a finished piece. Asked only when you tap the camera button.
- Photo library (read) — to choose an existing photo instead of taking a new one.
- Photo library (add) — to save a progress card you choose to share back into your library.
- Notifications — for one optional weekly "lace evening" reminder. Asked only when you turn that reminder on in Settings.
What we do not do
- We do not collect, transmit or sell any data. There is no network request the app ever makes with your information.
- We do not track you across apps or websites, and the app contains no advertising or analytics SDK.
- We do not require an account, login or email address to use any feature.
- We do not share data with any third party, because none is ever collected.
App Privacy manifest
Kantkussen ships an App Privacy manifest declaring zero collected data types and no tracking, consistent with this policy and with the data-collection answers on its App Store listing.
Children's privacy
Kantkussen is a reference and planning tool for bobbin lacemaking and is not directed at children. It collects no personal data from anyone, of any age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated text will be published at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
